About the Trainer

Heidi Watson

Heidi is an Occupational Therapist by trade. Since graduating from the University of Manitoba she has been working to start and build a local private practice. She has worked in geriatrics, acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, hand therapy, pediatrics, and return to work populations. Heidi has worked as a contractor, public health employee, and with indigenous organizations.

As a coach, Heidi is known for her enthusiastic and participant-directed approach. She creates a safe and energetic atmosphere that is perfect for creativity and learning.

Description

Starting a private practice can be overwhelming. Especially when you are not sure where to start or how to meet all of your professional and provincial legislation. This course guides you through the process of starting your own private practice. By the end of the course, you will have built a foundation for the ‘what’, ‘why’, and ‘how’ of running and managing your own business.

The course price includes a How to Start a Private Practice Workbook download for you to write out your plan.

This workbook and course was originally design to be 8 hours long, we will review each section and answer your most important questions to get your practice started in only 3 hours!

Participants who cancel with more than 7 days notice will recieved a full refund. Cancellations after this point will have a 20$ administrative fee as we will be unable to cancel the course after this time if participation is too low.
