Description
Thinking of going into private work? Starting your own practice is such a great idea. You can work closer to home, work less, or even just make extra cash on the side. There is so much demand for more health support in our local communities! You’re already an amazing clinician, so I know that you can take care of your clients no problem. It’s all the business stuff that is intimidating. How to start a business, how to keep books, what prices to set? This workbook can definitely help you with starting your private practice! Now that I have been in private practice for a few years, I’ve figured out a system to make running a business for us nice and easy. This workbook will help you to learn what you need to get started. By the end of this workbook, you will have built a foundation for the ‘what’, ‘why’, and ‘how’ of running and managing your own business.
Please note that this workbook is meant to be a general guide from clinician-to-clinician, to help you in the correct direction. I recommend that you still take your plan to be reviewed by a professional agency (e.g. business coach). The content in this workbook is not a substitute for professional accounting or legal advice.
Heidi –
Just got the booklet. I am glad that I have ordered it before I officially start it. It helps me fill the gap that I missed from what I found by myself.
It covers a broad area that I left unnoticed to start a private practice.
I would be in big trouble if I haven’t read the book!
It was also interesting and a good experience to do the “Life Balance Exercise” by myself. I haven’t done it before. It gives me new perspectives on work-life balance 🙂
