I am very pleased with the online sessions with Heidi. My grandson will not participate in an online meeting. As a matter of fact he does not approve of anyone talking to electronics. At times I have to hide in the bathroom or outside so he doesn't get upset. Heidi has been very understanding of this and doesn't try to pressure us to change this. During our meetings we discuss plans and methods to reach our goals. We also discuss how the previous meetings plans and goals went. Heidi has assured me I can email her in between meetings as well with questions or concerns. I like the fact that she is very accommodating to our schedule for appointment times and is even willing to cut the meeting short if things are getting difficult here.

We have been doing sessions with Heidi since summer of 2021 and the experience has been life changing. When we first met Heidi, Covid was still settling down, and she drove all the way out into the sticks of SW Saskatchewan to meet our little guy. She is kind and understanding, and patient, which was exactly what we needed. Though we have only had two meetings in person, and our meetings are predominantly remote, we truly would be lost without her. She has been an advocate for better care for my son, and has helped us step up our own games in understanding him.
Her tutelage has helped him recognize his feelings, and she also teaches us parents on how to be more accepting and gentle in our own teachings. She has an amazing knack for playing to our son's interest. Our son loves building with Heidi and learning new things, telling her all about new things.
My personal favorite was how we took a favorite new board game and turned it into a sensory extravaganza! And he still kept playing.
Her fee is fair and our invoices are always sent promptly. Her communication is thorough and concise. I look forward to our sessions. And she is always understanding and flexible when schedules change.
I hope we can continue growing together.
